I'm Dr. Hannah Shields, founder of Balance Brain and Body, where I offer patients a comprehensive and personalized approach to neurological healing. With a background in physical therapy and advanced training in neurorehabilitation, I specialize in identifying the root causes of complex brain-based symptoms and create practical, science-driven solutions to help restore optimal function.

I work with patients experiencing post-concussion symptoms, stroke deficits, vestibular dysfunction, long COVID, autonomic dysregulation, and other neurological challenges. My goal is not only to provide answers but to help patients achieve real progress that will translate into higher levels of function.

I am a brain injury survivor myself and have been actively involved in research, advocacy, and concussion/TBI awareness since 2013. Driven by both professional expertise and personal experience, I established Balance Brain and Body to harness the principles of neuroplasticity—helping patients improve function, reduce symptoms, and restore quality of life.
